Legal
Terms of Use
The basic rules for using Lightbulb English accounts, content and portals.
Effective date: 6 October 2026.
1. The service
Lightbulb English provides structured English Language learning, assessments, results and related customer portals. The current learner release is focused on JSS 1.
2. Accounts
Account information must be accurate and access credentials should not be shared in a way that defeats account security or institutional licensing. One-device and session controls may be applied where the product requires them.
3. Learning access
Access depends on account type, academic progression, active entitlement and institutional approval where applicable. Downloading a lesson does not by itself create an entitlement to content that has not been unlocked.
4. Content ownership
Lightbulb English lessons, stories, games, brand materials and related content are protected materials of Wholesomepen Publishers Limited. They may be used through the service for learning, but may not be copied, republished, sold or redistributed without permission.
5. Schools and learning centres
Institutional access is subject to the number and type of licence seats purchased or granted. Institutions are responsible for the users they approve under their codes and administrative accounts.
6. Acceptable use
Users must not attempt to bypass access controls, tamper with scoring or payment records, scrape protected content, interfere with the service, or access another person's private account.
7. Changes and support
The service may be improved or corrected over time while preserving paid access and legitimate learner records. For support, contact info@lightbulbenglish.com.
