Word Search game screen

Word Search

Vocabulary and spelling

Each puzzle keeps to one theme. Learners find words across, down, diagonally and backwards, and each word opens its meaning.

Why it matters

Finding words letter by letter practises spelling while the definitions grow vocabulary.

Build It game screen

Build It

Sentence structure and grammar

Learners build a correct sentence by tapping word tiles into place, then check it.

Why it matters

Each sentence practises grammar from the lessons, while the tip names the rule rather than giving the answer.

Notice Board game screen

Notice Board

Finding information fast

Real-life texts such as timetables, invitations, class rules and messages are used for quick-fact questions.

Why it matters

This trains scanning: finding one fact quickly without reading every word.

Intruder Alert game screen

Intruder Alert

Keeping a paragraph on topic

One sentence in a paragraph does not belong. The learner finds it.

Why it matters

Spotting the sentence that wanders off trains the same judgement needed to keep their own writing focused.

Case Files game screen

Case Files

Reading for evidence

A short mystery. The learner identifies who did it, then taps the sentences that prove it.

Why it matters

This is the thinking behind SAT-style evidence questions and WAEC inference questions: finding the proof, not just the answer.

Route Reader game screen

Route Reader

Following directions

A Nigerian street, school, market, farm or hospital map is paired with written directions. Learners follow the sequence and tap the destination.

Why it matters

It practises small direction words such as facing, left, right, forward and next to.

Choose Your Reply game screen

Choose Your Reply

Saying the right thing, the right way

A real situation and a goal. Learners pick the reply that gets the right result.

Why it matters

It teaches that a message must ask for what it needs in a tone that suits the person — the thinking behind formal and informal writing.

Story Room

Three original series

The Hollow Kingdom, Far Shore and The Hidden Purpose unfold chapter by chapter as the learner progresses through the term.

Library

Read beyond the exercise

Complete poems, stories and plays can be read at any time, alongside a shelf for rereading past Reading passages.
