Subscription & Purchase Terms

1. Free preview

New individual learners receive the first three weeks of 1st Term free as the introductory preview. The preview is linked to the learner account and is not intended to restart through reinstallation or repeated registration.

2. Individual purchases

Single-term purchases unlock the applicable paid term. Full Session purchases cover all three terms in the relevant academic session, while academic progression still determines when future terms become visible and usable.

3. Parent Dashboard

Parent Dashboard access is included with a Full Session individual purchase. For term-by-term individual learners, Parent Dashboard may be purchased as a separate add-on at the current catalogue price.

4. Institutional purchases

School and Learning Centre access is sold through institution-specific licence products and seat quantities. A learner's access remains subject to the relevant institution's approval and valid licence allocation.

5. Prices and payment

The current price shown in the Lightbulb English catalogue at checkout is the applicable price, including any active discount. Payments are processed through Paystack in the configured environment.

6. Refund policy

A full refund may be requested within 7 days of purchase provided that less than 30% of the purchased term content has been used. Requests outside these conditions may be reviewed where required by applicable law or where there is a verified service/payment error.

7. Failed or duplicate payments

If a payment is debited but access is not confirmed, contact info@lightbulbenglish.com with the payment reference so the transaction can be verified before another payment is attempted.
